Introduction: Leishmaniasis presents different distribution according to the regions, districts and hamlets where it is studied, this due to the climatic diversity of the country, one of its most frequent forms of presentation is cutaneous. Therefore, the objective lies in evaluating the behavior of the incidence of cutaneous leishmaniasis in the district of Sapillica 2015-2023. Materials and methods: A retrospective analytical descriptive observational study was conducted from a database of patients positive for leishmaniasis by laboratory smear at the Sapillica Health Center, those from other districts were excluded. Excel 2019 was used for data cleaning and incidence calculation, Qgis 3.34 for geospatial distribution according to hamlet and STATA 15.0 for variable frequency, risk of relapse and evaluation of factors associated with relapse. All with a confidence level of 95%. Results: We found 280 patients with a total of 406 lesions, 61.43% were male, the median age was 24 years and the cases were found in 16.79% in Llicsa Chica. The 72.86% presented a lesion, most of the lesions were ulcerative, located in the upper limb. The absolute incidence was 31.11% while the annual incidence was higher in 2016 and 2020 with TIA greater than 300 per 100 thousand inhab. Conclusion: The incidence increases for certain periods of time, however, more years of follow-up are required to generalize it
