To determine if the implementation of biosafety measures in the Surgical Center is associated with levels of anxiety in healthcare personnel at Hospital II-1 Moyobamba during the 2021 pandemic state. MATERIAL AND METHOD: Analytical-cross-sectional, prospective study with primary data collection through a self-administered questionnaire and with a census-type sample taken from all members of the operating room area of Hospital II-1 in Moyobamba through the use of a virtual platform. Google Forms for the collection of the data collection form and its association with a significance of p<0.05 for the corresponding variables. RESULTS: 57.45% (54 participants) were male, the total mean for age was 43.72 years (SD= 0.97); the most representative group was made up of surgeons with 39 records. Regarding knowledge in biosafety, we will find that 42.55% of the records (40 participants) presented an inadequate level with an average score for this group of 46.2, being in the same way the group with the greatest presence and finally, the anxiety process was associated with the management and knowledge about Biosafety in categories of inadequate type (p:0.05; Rpa:2.45; CI: 0.04-2.56) and for adequate (p:0.04; Rpa:0.35; CI: 0.03-2.44). CONCLUSION: There is a significant association between the measures and knowledge about biosafety and anxiety (p <0.05) in care personnel of Hospital II-1 Moyobamba during the 2021 pandemic state.
