Dependencia emocional de pareja y funcionalidad familiar en alumnos de psicología de una universidad privada de Piura, 2020

Abstract

Este estudio fue de tipo sustantiva – descriptiva correlacional, tuvo como finalidad determinar la relación que existe entre Dependencia emocional de Pareja y Funcionalidad Familiar. Se trabajó con 105 alumnos de una Universidad Privada de Piura, donde el Inventario de Dependencia Emocional y la Escala de Cohesión y Adaptabilidad Familiar (FACES III), fueron los dos instrumentos que se les aplicó de forma virtual con el consentimiento informado obtenido previamente. Para la puntuación e interpretación de los resultados, se utilizó el estadístico SPSS. Obteniéndose como resultado que la dimensión de Dependencia Emocional que predomina en nuestro estudio es la Sumisión y Subordinación. Mientras que, en Funcionalidad Familiar, la cohesión que predominó es la de tipo semi – relacionada y la adaptabilidad fue de tipo rígida. Finalmente se encontró que si existe una relación altamente significativa entre la Dependencia Emocional de pareja y Funcionalidad Familiar; Asimismo se presenta una relación altamente significativa entre la Sumisión y Subordinación de Dependencia Emocional con los dos factores de la Escala de Funcionalidad Familiar.

This study was of a substantive – descriptive type, its purpose was to determine the relationship between Emotional Dependence of the Couple and Family Functionality. We worked with 105 students from a Private University of Piura, where the Emotional Dependency Inventory and the Family Cohesion and Adaptability Scale (FACES III) were the two instruments that were applied virtually with previously informed consent. For the scoring and interpretation of the results, the SPSS statistic was used. Obtaining as a result that the dimension of Emotional Dependence that predominates in our study is that of Submission and Subordination. While, in Family Functionality, the predominant cohesion is that of the semi – related type and the adaptability was of the rigid type. Finally, it was found that if there is a highly significant relationship between the couple's Emotional Dependence and Family Functionality; Likewise, there is a highly significant relationship between Submission and Subordination of Emotional Dependence with the two factors of the Family Functionality Scale.
