A Quantitative, descriptive-correlational and cross-sectional study, whose objective was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the ergonomic risks of the nurse in the surgical center, at the Regional Institute of Neoplasic Diseases of Trujillo, 2018. The sample consisted of 16 nurses to whom two instruments for data collection were applied: the Questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge about the ergonomic risks and the Survey to assess the level of ergonomic risks. The results showed that 69% of nurses have an adequate level of knowledge and 31% inadequate; 62.5% of nurses have low ergonomic risk and 37.5% high ergonomic risk. When applying Fisher's exact test, it resulted in a significant relationship between the study variables. (-p = 0.036).
