To determine which has a higher incidence of rebleeding in postoperative chronic subdural hematoma that underwent burr hole or enlarged single burr hole at Hospital Belén de Trujillo. Materials and Methods: An analytical, retrospective, cohort study was carried out. The universal population consisted of 231 patients with a diagnosis of chronic subdural hematoma, of which the study population consisted of 128 patients: group A (64 patients) with burr hole and group B (64 patients) with enlarged single burr hole. Results: The statistical analysis of the studied variables reported that the incidence of rebleeding in group A is 12.5%, while group B is 1.6%, and when comparing both groups, a significant difference, according to the statistic reported (RR: 8.00. CI: 95% [1,030-62,130], p <0.016). It was found that the average age in both surgical techniques was 75 years and with respect to the gender, a predominance of the male gender was evidenced. Conclusion: A statistically significant difference was found in the incidence of rebleeding in postoperative patients with chronic subdural hematoma who underwent Burr hole compared to that of enlarged single burr hole
