To determine the level of anxiety in parents of children with special abilities in Trujillo and Pucallpa who attend the Early Intervention Program (PRITE), during confinement. Materials and Methods: An observational, analytical, cross-sectional study was carried out with the participation of 71 parents attending PRITE in the cities of Pucallpa and Trujillo, who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, for the compilation of data was given through a survey that identifies the level of anxiety in parents of children with special abilities in the cities of Trujillo and Pucallpa who attended PRITE, during the confinement. Results: The greatest participation in the study was that of mothers who confirmed having a partner, with higher education and mostly unemployed, the level of anxiety was medium and low in this population. The prevalent special abilities were in both cities: Down Syndrome, PCI, Language Disorder, among others. During the time of confinement the parents claimed to leave for the necessary imposed by the state. Conclusions: It is affirmed that the level of anxiety of parents of children with special abilities in Trujillo and Pucallpa who attend PRITE is medium and the level of anxiety in parents of children with disabilities is not higher in Pucallpa than in Trujillo during confinement.
