The present work “COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE PHYSICAL AND RESISTANT CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LOMA LINDA AND SAN IDELFONSO CANTERAS FOR THE DESIGN OF STRUCTURAL CONCRETE MIX“ aims to analyze and compare the results given. In this work the study of two quarries: Loma Linda and San Idelfonso, the same that supply materials for the construction of civil works in the city of Trujillo and nearby districts. The research consisted in going to the quarries mentioned above and obtaining materials (aggregates), with the consent of the owners of the same, then take them to the Materials Laboratory of the Private University Antenor Orrego and the Laboratory of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Wherein said aggregates were subjected to various tests of tests, in order to obtain their physical and resistant characteristics. After obtaining the physical and resistant characteristics of the samples under study, the concrete mix design was calculated to obtain a compressive strength of 210 kg / cm2 by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) method. With the dosages of mixtures, concrete witnesses were elaborated which will be subjected to compression test and also the slump tests were carried out, obtaining the values between 3 “to 4“, which corresponds to the type of consistency Workable employee in civil works. Finally, the controls were tested at the compression test to obtain their respective resistance and check if they complied with the established dosage.
