The present research study aims to determine how sociocultural factors affect the rejection of pap smears and VIA in women from the El Esfuerzo District Hospital aged 30 to 49 years in 2023. The descriptive cross-sectional correlational design was used to characterize this study as basic type . The data were collected through a survey that requested the voluntary participation of the 237 people who attended cancer screening. Subsequently, a statistical analysis was carried out using the SPSS statistical package version 29.0, which also included simple and cross tabulation. If there is a relationship between the variables analyzed, the probabilistic Chi-square (X2) method was used, with a significance level of p < 0.05. It was found that occupation is a social factor that significantly influences (p-value < 0.05) the rejection or acceptance of pap smears and VIA in women aged 30 to 49 years. Likewise, personal beliefs and access to the hospital are significantly influential cultural factors (p-value < 0.05). Current research has concluded that occupation is a social factor that has a significant impact (p-value < 0.05); access to the hospital and beliefs are cultural factors that significantly influence (p-value < 0.05) the rejection or acceptance of pap smears and VIA in women from the district of Florencia de Mora aged 30 to 49 years
