Análisis y propuesta para mejorar el tráfico en la Avenida Juan Pablo II, del Distrito de Trujillo, La Libertad.2023

Abstract

Con el pasar del tiempo la problemática del congestionamiento vehicular que viene afectando a la población, hace necesario el diseño de nuevos proyectos que puedan mejorar las condiciones de transitabilidad, para esto se debe contar con tener información actualizada sobre el funcionamiento del tráfico que se viene dando. Por ello se ha creído conveniente realizar el presente estudio de tráfico para tener un diagnóstico de la situación en la zona de estudio, y brindar algunas propuestas de solución ante la problemática del congestionamiento que se viene dando para su mejoramiento. El presente estudio aplicó la metodología del manual de capacidad de carreteras, tomando los siguientes datos: aforos vehiculares según tipo y trayectoria de vehículos, número y anchos de carril, pendientes, paradas de buses, estacionamientos, reglaje semafórico, y así determinar la capacidad por accesos y niveles de servicios de la intersección. Por otro lado, también se analizó el aforo peatonal, ancho de vereda, radio de bordillo, presencia de obstáculos, tiempos semafóricos para calcular el nivel de servicio peatonal. Se concluye que el nivel de servicio vehicular de la intersección de la Av. Juan Pablo II con la Av. Los Colibríes y con la Av. Jesús de Nazareth es E para ambas intersecciones, además tienen nivel de servicio peatonal A y B respectivamente

As time goes by, the problem of traffic congestion that has been affecting the population, makes it necessary to design new projects that can improve trafficability conditions, for this it is necessary to have updated information on the operation of the traffic that has been occurring. For this reason, it has been deemed convenient to carry out this traffic study in order to have a diagnosis of the situation in the study area, and to offer some proposed solutions to the traffic congestion problem that has been occurring in order to improve it. This study applied the methodology of the highway capacity manual, taking the following data: vehicle capacity according to type and trajectory of vehicles, number and width of lanes, slopes, bus stops, parking lots, traffic lights, and in this way determine the capacity by accesses and service levels of the intersection. On the other hand, pedestrian capacity, sidewalk width, curb radius, presence of obstacles, and traffic signal timing were also analyzed to calculate the pedestrian level of service. It is concluded that the vehicular level of service of the intersection of Juan Pablo II Ave. with Los Colibríes Ave. and with Jesús de Nazareth Ave. is E for both intersections, and they also have pedestrian level of service A and B respectively
