Through descriptive research on the transportation research line, this thesis was developed where the main objective is the technical and economic evaluation of flexible, rigid and articulated pavements design proposals for the streets of the Farias town center located in the Chocope district. As a first step, soil mechanics studies were carried out, using the preparation of test pits at various points on the streets of the town center as a data collection method, guided by the recommendations provided by the National Building Regulations: Norm CE.10 Urban Pavements 2010, with the final purpose to know the classification and type of soil, where a poorly graded sand with slimes, with a CBR of 14.37%. Then, for de traffic analysis study, the vehicle count was carried out on two main roads that feed vehicles to the town center, which are Chocope – Farias highway and Chocope – El Brujo highway, where it was observed that those roads support 96 and 31 veh/day, respectively. Taking the first road as the most convenient option for the best development of research and the number of repetitions of equivalents axes of 568,327.91 ESALS was obtained for the flexible and articulated pavements and 739,381.39 ESALS for the rigid pavement. For the structural design of flexible and rigid pavements, the equation AASHTO 93 was used, resulting a 2-inch asphalt binder, 8-inch granular base and 8-inch granular sub base, at a cost of two million, twenty – six thousand, four hundred and eleven with 60/100 nuevos soles (S/. 2’026,411.60), for the rigid pavement a concrete slab of 6 inch with f’c=280 kg/cm2 and a 6-inch granular base were obtained at a cost of two million, five hundred and twenty – four thousand, two hundred and six with 10/100 nuevos soles (S/. 2’524,206.10), finally for the articulated pavement using the ICPI methodology an 8 cm thick concrete paving block, a 4 cm thick sand bed and a 15 cm granular base were obtained, with a cost of two million, three hundred and fifty – four thousand, two hundred and thirty with 65/100 nuevos soles (S/.2’354,230.65).
