In the present research work it centers on the study of the transport traffic, considered one of the biggest current problems in the city, for what it focuses in the crossing of the Av. Salvador Lara with Hermanos Uceda Meza in the city of Trujillo, avenues that are very crowded to the intersection the entry flows for avenues that at present you are circulating supervised by conventional traffic light, with cycles of traffic light not adapted to the transit, generating transport congestion in the intersection in study, for what it considers to improve the transport flow on having proposed the incorporation of intelligent semaphores. Simultaneously there were used methodologies that examine the intersection to be studied, delimiting 4 analysis stations, estimating in the first instance the transit volumes, obtaining like maximum reference on Thursday with 22562 mixed vehicles per day, flow valuations in three shifts of the day, morning, evening and night, demonstrating the presence of transport congestion by means of graphics. The hourly factors of maximum demand decided with regard to the change of the volumes of transit in the same hour of major flow showing if the route can become repetitive and consisting of the following days of the week and the times of semaphores for every sense of the routes. In the same way, the results obtained previously would aim to a mike - at simulation, observing thoroughly the behavior of the vehicles showing the correct functioning of the intersection for an efficient transport flow.
