Pavements are part of the most important infraestructure in cities, therefore, it is also one of the most common problems, and that is why, in this work it is proposed to carry out a detailed analysis of the real state in which the vehicular access roads to the Ichocan district are located, determining the condition of the rigid pavement using the PCI methodology, for which they were taken and They selected 8 of the main streets, where the sections with the greatest deterioration and pavement deficiency were located. In each of the selected streets, mentioned above, the types and severities that each of the failures presented were inspected, then proceed to take note and record with evidence the deficiencies they present. Subsequently, the collected data were processed in which we obtained different classifications, which mostly threw pavement with poor conditions. Within the most concurrent damages of the pavement you will find 3 types: First, within the most repetitive faults were the Linear Cracks, which include the longitudinal, transverse and diagonal, with an amount of 52 slabs that have these faults. Secondly, we have the Aggregates Polish, with an amount of 24 slabs with the presence of this type of damage and finally we have the Large Patch with an amount of 23 slabs with this problem. Finally, we were able to determine the average PCI of the 8 streets, obtaining a result of 36.49, which is classified as a BAD type pavement, for which in our investigation we recommend removing the existing pavement to perform a reconstruction of it, for being consistent and economical, because the existing pavement has already fulfilled the useful life with an approximate age of more than 40 years.
