presentaron anemia, 43.3% tuvo anemia leve, 16.6% anemia moderada y 0.8%
anemia severa.
Objective: The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal anemia and premature rupture of ovular membranes in the Peru-Korea Friendship Hospital Santa Rosa II-2 in the Piura Region of Peru. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional, observational, analytical, correlational study was carried out in which 120 pregnant patients who met the established inclusion criteria were included. For the bivariate analysis, the Chi square test was used for qualitative variables and the t-student test for quantitative variables. Results: The study included a total of 120 pregnant women, of whom 39.2% had no anemia, 43.3% had mild anemia, 16.6% had moderate anemia and 0.8% had severe anemia. Premature rupture of ovular membranes reached 54.2% of the population. In the bivariate analysis, ““anemia““ [p-value: 0.000], and gestational age [p-value: 0.001] were found to have statistically significant association with premature rupture of ovarian membranes. While ““age““ [p-value 0.558] and ““parity““ [p-value 0.128] did not reach statistical association with premature rupture of ovarian membranes in pregnant women attended at the Peru-Korea Friendship Hospital Santa Rosa II-2 in the Region of Piura-Peru. Conclusions: Maternal anemia is related to premature rupture of ovarian membranes in the Peru-Korea Friendship Hospital Santa Rosa II-2 in the Piura Region of Peru
