The present investigation called ““Characteristics of concrete in fresh and hardened state made with the global aggregate““ quartzite rock ““and portland cement type““ Ms and Ico ““, is located in the city, district, province and department of La Libertad, in our Due to the growth that has been shown, there are new constructions both in buildings and civil works of different types, so with the desire to grow as a country, construction allows a development in different areas of civil engineering to be generated, then it is not something strange that In the field of concrete technology, let us find new solutions that facilitate a better quality in the preparation of concrete, since it is widely used in civil works, therefore our research aims to have the characteristics of concrete in its fresh and durable state made with global aggregate ´´quarzite rock´´ using portland cement type Ms and Ico. On the other hand, to determine the mix design, the main characteristics of the global aggregate were taken into account: moisture percentage, absorption percentage, mass density, granulometry, fineness modulus and loose unit weight. Likewise, a total of 40 cylindrical test tubes (15cm in diameter and 30cm in height) were made; with the following inverse water-cement relationship of: 0.40, 0.45, 0.50 and 0.55 for a Settlement of (3 - 4) ”, of which 16 controls were tested at 14 days and the remaining 24 at 28 days, following the technical criteria of the ASTM and NTP standards. As a consequence of our research, we were able to project a scheme with two curves of watercement ratio and resistance to concrete compression (a / c Vs F'c), one curve for portland cement type Ms and the other for type Ico, for Consequently, the water is what determines the characteristic of the concrete in the fresh state (Settlement), and the relationship (a / c) gives us the characteristic of the concrete in the hardened state (F'c), we then express that these curves will be of great help for the inhabitants of the district of Mollebamba, Santiago de chuco, La Libertad; so that they can develop their concrete mix designs with Global Aggregate (quartzite rock) based on the data obtained in this research.
