The present research work was developed in the town of Puerto Malabrigo, which in the year 2021 presented a Non-Invoiced Water Index of 46.15%, despite having a relatively young drinking water supply infrastructure since it was renovated in 2011. The main objective of this research was the elaboration of a micro-metering plan to reduce the high Unbilled Water Index (ANF). The methodology used was of an applicative type; and of an explanatory level, making use of statistics and documentary analysis. As a result, a micro-metering plan was obtained for execution over a five-year horizon, consisting of three programs based, respectively, on: improvement of micro-metering coverage, follow-up and management of metered consumption, and maintenance of micro-metering levels. Finally, with the implementation of the micro-metering plan, it was projected to reduce the Non-Revenue Water Index by 5.90% in the first year, being equivalent to 26,034m3 of water volume to be recovered, projecting to guarantee the new Non-Revenue Water Index during the five years.
