The purpose of this research work is to investigate the influence of the use of prefabricated material in the construction of social housing to face natural disasters in the district of El Porvenir, Trujillo - Peru; on specific issues of costs, quality and time; In order to propose a low-cost social housing model that meets quality standards over time and is easy to install in the production stage. Using as a methodology to establish a direct relationship between (costs, quality and time); to obtain as a final product a prefabricated social housing model optimized for its execution stage. The general objective is to determine the influence of prefabricated material use in the construction of social housing to face Natural disasters in the El Porvenir District. The procedure consisted of extracting a simple random sampling without replacement of the affected population of the El Porvenir district to be able to determine the sample, applying the “In Situ” data collection instrument; A comparative analysis was perfomend between the affected homes and the temporary prefabricated dwellings of the local government as a precedent for the stage of the architectural design of the Prefabricated prototype and also by means of this, determine the influence of the use of the material to be applied. The results reveal that the use of the prefabricated material and construction system directly influences the construction of the VIS; Appearing improvements in the issues of costs, quality and time in the stages of design, execution and after the delivery of the project (life cycle of a project).
