The present study was carried out in the District of Huanchaco with the District of La Esperanza, located between the Trópico and Nuevo Trujillo avenues, being a descriptive investigation. The general objective was to carry out the Structural Pavement Design for the urban road of Trópico, located between Km 0+00 to Km 08+00 Manuel Arévalo, Huanchaco - Department of La Libertad. For this purpose, the variables and parameters were applied to apply the AASHTO design method and recommend optimization, economy, and service life based on the results. For the Flexible Pavement Design, it was designed according to the AASHTO 93' methodology, taking into account the absolute traffic volumes, resulting in the following outcomes: IMDA = 1969, E.E. = 840.378 ESAL = 9’134,656.746 for Pavement Design. Similarly, in the Soil Mechanics Study, a CBR of 28.40% was obtained, with which we calculated the Structural Design for the thicknesses of the Flexible Pavement, Mr (psi) = 21,752.78, determining the thicknesses for each of the layers as Asphalt Pavement = 4”, Base = 8”, Subbase = 6”. Likewise, a proposal for the estimated budget for the structural design of the 15,855.421.17 pavement for the urban road of Trópico is presented. This thesis aims to demonstrate the obtained results and establish an Optimal Flexible Pavement, which will improve the vehicular trafficability of the transporters in the El Trópico and Manuel Arévalo Sector, providing the best living conditions for the inhabitants
