In the present study, the social and psychological consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic were studied in users of contraceptive methods at the Aranjuez Health Center during the year 2022. A descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional design research was carried out in 185 women users of contraceptive methods who were surveyed. The results that were found, within the psychological consequences, were that 78.9% of users of contraceptive methods presented a level of mild stress, 58.4% of users of contraceptive methods presented a level of mild depression and 52.4% of users of contraceptive methods presented a level of mild anxiety. Likewise, within the social consequences, we have the monthly family income, where 45.9% of contraceptive method users had the highest percentage since they received the minimum living wage. Finally, we consider intrafamily violence, where physical (76.2%), psychological (80%) and patrimonial (77.8%) violence have a higher percentage of mild violence; however, sexual (55.7%), social (48.6%) and gender (56.8%) violence have a higher percentage of moderate violence. In conclusion, social and psychological consequences were present during the COVID-19 pandemic among contraceptive users.
