With the objective of determine the relationship between beliefs and psychoprophylaxis care with the participation of pregnant women from the Aranjuez Health Center - 2019; a basic correlational study was carried out, with a sample of 40 women, to whom a survey validated by expert judgment was applied. Where it was found regarding the general characteristics of pregnant women in 2019, that 92.5% were between 18 and 35 years old, 70% cohabiting, 82.5% housewife and 75% secondary education. Regarding the beliefs about the benefits of obstetric psychoprophylaxis, 77.5% of the pregnant women had adequate beliefs; while 22.5% of the total number of pregnant women had inadequate beliefs. Regarding obstetric psychoprophylaxis care, it was evidenced that it is “regular” with 62.5% and “good” with 37.5. It was concluded that there is a highly significant relationship (p= < 0.001) between the beliefs of the benefits of obstetric psychoprophylaxis with the participation of pregnant women. Similarly, there is a significant relationship (p= 0.002) between the attention provided in obstetric psychoprophylaxis with the participation of pregnant women at the Aranjuez Health Center, 2019.
