The purpose of the present investigation was to compare the yield of the Quinoa crop; when applying a conventional and intermittent drip irrigation using irrigation tapes. The field work was carried out in the demonstration plot of the District of Tauripampa, understanding of the Province of Yauyos in the Department of Lima, during the months of May 2017 to October of the 2017. The experimental area with the cultivation of Quinoa, had an area of 8 meters x 15 meters; making a total area of 120 m2; We worked with two treatments and in both the drip irrigation system was used, satisfying a watering sheet 100% of the water need of the crop and an expense of 57.60 US dollars was made in the drip irrigation system in said area of 120 m2, meaning that the cost for one hectare is 4,800 US dollars or 16,800 soles. According to the results obtained, it is concluded that for both treatments the amount of water used was a value that represents 60% of the amount used by the producers who work with gravity irrigation. The yield of the harvest was 62.75 Tn Ha • for intermittent drip irrigation and 57.16 Tn Ha for conventional drip irrigation, both results were favorable for the experiment since the national average yield for Quinoa is around 40 Tn Ha, taking into account that the producers work with irrigation by gravity. The Countervalue Fund Peru - France; demonstrates that it is possible to apply non-reimbursable economic resources to boost the potential for local development of the Tauripampa district, including agricultural capacities, participatory management, involving local and regional government actors and civil society.
