This research arises from a problem synthesized in the statement: What are the determining legal guidelines for the normative regulation of the accountability of alimony in the Peruvian legal system? The methods used were; statistical, deductive and inductive logical methods; and the dogmatic, hermeneutical and comparative legal methods. On the other hand, the techniques used were; the doctrinal, normative and jurisprudential documentary analysis, and the survey; techniques that were materialized through instruments such as the analysis protocol and the questionnaire. The results of the research are optimal, since they corroborate the hypothesis, obtaining as main conclusions that the Principle of Superior Interest of the Child is a determining legal guideline for the normative regulation of the accountability of alimony, which the article 427 of the Civil Code applicable to the rendering of accounts of alimony is ineffective as it is subject to limiting circumstances, and that the normative regulation of the rendering of accounts of alimony would not imply the violation of the rights of the administrator thereof. .
