Objective: The aim of this research is to know the neurological manifestations post-treatment by chemotherapy and / or radiotherapy in patients with breast cancer in Hospital III José Cayetano Heredia Piura 2018. Material and methods: Observational, Exploratory, Longitudinal, prospective, mixed-source study. The study population: patients treated in Hospital III-1 José Cayetano Heredia Piura during the year 2018, with a pathological diagnosis of breast cancer that met our selection criteria. They were interviewed and their medical records reviewed. The statistical analysis was performed in SPSS V23.0. Results: 100 female patients were included. Their average age is 58.39 years, with extremes of 37 and 93 years. Standard deviation 11,361. Those who received chemotherapy alone presented more neurological symptoms than those who received chemotherapy and radiotherapy, although this difference was not significant (p> 0.05). The main signs and symptoms of the nervous system were nausea (21.30%); headache (17.59%) and neuropathy (12.96%). A greater number of nausea cases were found in the patients who received chemotherapy + radiotherapy to those who received only chemotherapy.Of the six drug combinations evaluated, doxorubicin + Cyclophosphamide + paclitaxel is the combination with the most adverse neurological effects generated and the difference is statistically significant (p = 0.032). Conclusions: If different types of neurological manifestations were found in the majority of patients who received treatment with different chemotherapy and / or radiotherapy schemes
