The present investigation, substantive, applied and with quantitative approach; With a nonexperimental, cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational design, it was intended to study the relationship between the variables Study Habits and Learning Styles, for which a random sample of 132 students was selected from a population of 250 students of the secondary level of a Trujillo pre-university educational institution, to which 2 validated and reliable instruments were applied: The CASM Study Habits Inventory - 85 Review 2005 and the OXFORD-89 Learning and Work Styles Inventory. The predominant category of learning habits was found study is Trend (+), with 33.4%; 62.5% corresponding to students with at least (+) tendency in study habits; The most frequent learning styles according to areas were Auditory of the use of the senses area, Extroverted of the area related to others, Intuitive of the area of management of possibilities, Open of the area How I face tasks and Global of the area How I handle the ideas, corresponding to the style category Middle learning, 67.9%, followed by the category of learning style Low with 26.5%; It was also found that there is a highly significant relationship between Study Habits and Learning Styles, both globally and between Study Habits and introverted and extroverted learning styles; Intuitive and Sequential-concrete, Open and Closed; and Global and Analytical. There is no significant relationship between study habits and learning styles Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic.
