ambas relaciones altamente significativas.
The research addresses the relationship between anxiety and impulsivity in young people who play video games, Trujillo. A descriptive correlational study design was used, with a non probabilistic sampling of 199 participants using selection criteria: “Young people aged 18 to 30 who play video games in Trujillo. The ““Zung Anxiety Questionnaire““ was applied to measure anxiety with somatic symptoms (R = 0.584**) and affective symptoms (R = 0.479**), both highly significant relationships. The Plutchik impulsivity scale evaluated the dimensions of self-control (R = 0.535**), planning (R = 0.212**), physiological behaviors (R = 0.372**), spontaneous action (R = 0.508**), revealing a highly significant relationship with Zung Anxiety. The results of the Pearson correlation coefficient (R = 0.585**) indicate a direct, positive, medium and highly significant relationship between the Impulsivity Scale and Zung Anxiety. The p-value (Sig.) <.001, less than the 0.05 significance level, confirms the hypothesis
