The present investigation was carried out with the objective of determining the relationship between factors and stress in the nurses of the Surgical Center of the Hospital de Apoyo II-2 Sullana 2023. The methodology used was a non- experimental study, with a descriptive correlational and cross-sectional design. The sample population was made up of 26 nurses, who met the inclusion criteria, the technique used was the survey, two instruments were used to collect the data, a questionnaire on stress factors that was developed by Suárez S. (2017) and later modified by Urtecho E. (2019) and the Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire to evaluate the level of stress, to determine the relationship between the variables subject to study, the Pearson Chi Square test was used, with a P value < 0.005. The results show that 61.54% of nurses have a medium level of stress, followed by 26.92% with a high level of stress, while only 11.54% experience a low level of stress; Taking personal factors into account, 34.62% report that these are present and 65.38% mention that they are absent and quite the opposite in the workplace, 61.54% mentioned the presence of factors, while 65.38% indicated their absence, while regarding environmental factors, 41.2% indicated their presence and 38.46% mentioned that they were absent. Concluding that there is a significant relationship between the analyzed factors and work stress in the nurses of the Surgical Center of the Support Hospital II-2 in Sullana - Piura
