was to demonstrate first gestation in advanced maternal as a risk factor for breast cancer at the Trujillo Regional Teaching Hospital, 2007- 2019. Material and methods: An investigation of cases and controls was developed. The study population consisted of 174 patients from the Gynecology and Obstetrics service, attended on an outpatient basis, divided into: 58 cases who are patients diagnosed with breast cancer confirmed with anatomical study pathological and 116 control group of patients without breast cancer, ruled out by mammography or other means of screening. Results: It is described that first pregnancy in advanced maternal age in women with breast cancer was 31.0% and without breast cancer was 17.2%, obtaining an ORa of 4.64 times with 95% CI from 1.02 to 21.17; p=0.048. The consumption of oral contraceptives obtained an ORa of 2.06; p=0.042 and having a family history of breast cancer an ORa of 2.12; p=0.032 Conclusions: First gestation in advanced maternal age is a risk factor for developing breast cancer, in addition, the intervening variables were relation consumption of oral contraceptives and family history of breast cancer
