Objective: To determine the factors associated with pregnancy and its complications in adolescent patients treated at EX-CESAMICA-Piura during December 2022 to June 2023. Materials and Methods: This was an analytical-observational case-control study. Medical records of pregnant adolescent patients treated at EX-CESAMICA were reviewed with formal permission and authorization from the facility, collecting the most relevant information to identify associated factors. The statistical program SPSS V.25 was used to produce the results. Results: In the group of adolescents treated at EX-CESAMICA in Piura, those aged 14 to 17 years represented 22.73% of the cases, with an average age of 16.33 years. No adolescents were recorded in the control group, which had an average age of 25.12 years. Single adolescents accounted for 22.73%, in contrast to 50.76% in the control group. Only 3.79% of the adolescents had completed primary education, compared to 1.52% in the control group, and 21.97% of the adolescents had completed secondary education, compared to 71.21% in the control group. A total of 18.94% of the adolescents did not use contraceptive methods, and 13.64% began menarche at age 10. Anemia and nausea were reported in 15.15% and 18.18% of the adolescents, respectively, compared to 18.94% and 24.24% in the control group. These findings underscore the importance of education, family planning, and medical care to reduce the risk of pregnancy in adolescents. Conclusion: There are factors associated with pregnancy and its complications in adolescent patients treated at EX-CESAMICA-Piura during December 2022 to June 2023
