Since the appearance of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the city of Wuhan, China in 2019, it has spread to all continents becoming a worldwide issue. Due to the fact that neurological manifestations are included within its broad symptoms, the one with the highest risk being cerebrovascular disease, the following case is presented: a 73-year-old female patient with multiple comorbidities, who entered the emergency service with decreased muscle strength of the right hemi body and headache. COVID-19 serology was performed and gave a positive result, a brain tomography without contrast was also performed and a left parieto-occipital infarction was found. She underwent secondary prevention treatment after cerebral infarction and she presented improvement after a few days, she did not present respiratory symptoms during her hospitalization.
