The present investigation sought to determine the relationship between the use of monthly injectable contraceptive method with BMI and spotting at the Víctor Larco- Trujillo health center 2021-2022. The study was Basic, applied, non-experimental, quantitative, the sample was made up of 80 women of childbearing age who are users of the monthly injectable contraceptive method, treated at the Víctor Larco Herrera Trujillo Health Center in the year 2021-2022. For data collection, the survey was used as a technique and a questionnaire as an instrument. The results indicated that the use of contraceptives significantly influences the increase in BMI at p<0.05. It can be stated that the use of contraceptives significantly influences the manifestation of Spotting, as p<0.05 the Ho is rejected. The increase in BMI has a significant relationship with the presence of spotting. As p<0.05, Ho is rejected, so it can be stated that when comparing BMI it is related to bleeding. Finally, between 2021 and 2022, the Víctor Larco Herrera Trujillo Health Center served a population where 50% were between 18 and 29 years old, 54% were single, 43% had secondary education, and 40% worked as students
