This thesis called: “Structural design of the pavement of the streets of the Jorge Basadre sector, Moche district, province of Trujillo, La Libertad”, was developed with the intention of improving the vehicular and pedestrian breathability of said sector for a design period. 20 years. The main objective of this thesis is to design the pavement structure of the streets in the Jorge Basadre sector, Moche district, Trujillo province, La Libertad. For this, the design of the flexible and rigid pavement structure was carried out. Basic studies necessary for the structural design of pavements will be carried out, such as: Vehicular traffic study, with the following results, for flexible pavement, Nrep. From E.E. = 697,770.31, and for rigid pavement Nrep. From E.E. = 829,067.16. Soil mechanics study where an average CBR of CBR = 12.286 % was obtained. And the lowest CBR value of CBR=10.606%. For the structural design of the pavement, the AASHTO 93 methodology was used, both for rigid pavement and for flexible pavement. The appropriate dimensions of the structure were obtained, such as. Flexible pavement obtained, 6cm thick asphalt layer, 20cm base, with CBR>80% and 15cm subbase with CBR>40% according to standard. For rigid pavement, a concrete slab Mr=40kg/cm2, f'c=280kg/cm2, 20cm thick, 15cm subbase of compacted granular material with CBR>40%, according to standard, will be used. The budget calculated for both types of pavements differs significantly from each other, with the cost for flexible pavement being a unit cost of 129.94 soles per m2, with a total cost of 1,064,033.55 soles. Rigid pavement has a unit cost of 254.99 soles per m2. With a total cost of 1,615,819.74 soles, this means that rigid pavement is 65% more expensive than flexible pavement
