Objectives: The objective of this study is to establish the factors that are associated with deworming in pregnancy in Peru according to the data collected in the Demographic and Family Health Survey (ENDES) 2021. Method: A total of 19,168 women with daughters and sons born alive in the last 5 years were analyzed from the Demographic and Family Health Survey (ENDES) 2021. A significant and positive association was found between deworming during pregnancy and the variables: older age, type of place of residence, ethnicity, frequency of listening to the radio, having had prenatal care at a MINSA medical post, ESSALUD polyclinic/center/post, having a desire for pregnancy, the time of the first prenatal check-up and having received tablets/syrup /iron injections. While the factors significantly and negatively associated with deworming in pregnant women were the natural region, department, educational level of the pregnant woman and her husband/partner, wealth index, literacy, main source of drinking water, type of sanitary facility, no had prenatal care or having received it from a doctor or nurse, having been diagnosed with anemia during pregnancy and having received prenatal care at a MINSA health center, ESSALUD hospital and private hospital/clinic. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that there is a statistically significant association between sociodemographic factors, sanitation, exposure to radio listening, the staff who provided prenatal care, the institution where prenatal care was given, the diagnosis of anemia and having received treatment in gestation, the trimester of prenatal control and the desire for pregnancy, with deworming during pregnancy in Peru
