The present descriptive correlational study was carried out with the purpose of determining the relationship between the level of knowledge and Nursing practices on prehospital care in students of the second specialty of Emergencies and Disasters of the Antenor Orrego Private University, 2019. The sample universe consisted of 40 students. Two instruments were used: a questionnaire to measure students' knowledge and an observation guide on prehospital practices. It was found that the level of knowledge in professionals was adequate (52.5%) as well as the level of practice (62.5%). Finally, the alternative hypothesis is verified given that the relationship between the variables is high and positive with a rate of rho=0.855. It is concluded that it is still necessary to improve the evaluation and learning techniques in the students who participated in the study, to provide better care to patients.
