This research aimed to develop an efficient proposal for ““Eco-friendly architecture applied to the design of the engineering and architectural design faculty of the National University Ciro Alegría in Huamachuco““. The proposed archetype is equipped with the necessary infrastructure to offer high academic quality services to the young and adult population as they will make use of it to a large extent. It is located in the district of Huamachuco, in the province of Sánchez Carrión, Sierra Liberteña. The project contemplated the node: connecting space, meeting and organization, sustainable envelopes and ventilated in educational areas; and, eco-friendly architecture based on the cultural language of the province Sánchez Carrión in educational building. There is an over-demand of 200 places at general career preference level, although the exact number of the specific demand of the professional program of Ing is not available. Neither Civil nor Architecture the project has a pre-investment study that fully justifies the demand and the proposal. Also, the project offer shows that there are no institutions that meet the necessary infrastructure requirements, as well as facilities that can be categorized as service alternatives
