The neighborhood road of the Marcahuamachuco - Sanagorán diversion is located in the province of Sánchez Carrión, it is the only road that connects both districts, in addition, along the section of the road it connects with four populated centers for which the road is vital importance because it represents the only way of connection that helps improve the quality of life of the inhabitants in basic services such as health, education, exchange of markets and productive centers. To start the present investigation, the topographical survey was started, with which the minimum radii along the road were determined, in addition, the transverse slopes that vary between 51% and 100% and the respective slopes that do not exceed the 8%; its section length has a distance of 11.4 km. The geometric design was carried out with the guidance of the DG-2018 road manual, to classify the type of road according to its demand according to the IMDA obtained and orography to its type of terrain in the found, at the same time, the characteristics of the traffic, the design speed and the service level capacity that circulate through the study section were indicated. A fundamental part of the structural design, two previous studies were carried out, such as the traffic study, where the purpose was to establish the Number of Equivalent Axis Repetitions, being 𝑊18 = 1,041,608.513. And finally, the study of soil mechanics to know the bearing resistance of the soil with a CBR of 8.29%. Therefore, the structural design of the flexible pavement was determined using the AASHTO-93 methodology, for which it was taken into account that the local road does not have a structure of some type of pavement, which is a problem that afflicts the inhabitants of both districts because it delays transportation. On the other hand, the budget was made for the type of flexible pavement with which an economically convenient analysis for its execution can be denoted and with this to be able to provide a better quality of traffic to the population of both districts
