Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego 2022-20
Determine the factors associated with stress in dental students at the Antenor Orrego Private University 2022. Methodology: The research was observational and with a cross-sectional design, the Dental Environment Stressors (DES) questionnaire, with 30 items, was applied to 130 dentistry students at the Antenor Orrego Private University. And associated factors such as sex, age, cycle of studies, occupation and family burden were also evaluated, for which the chi square statistical test was used with a value of p< 0.05. Results: An association of the factors studied with the presence of stress was found, obtaining a “somewhat stressful” level; for age (young people 39.4%), women (39.9%), VI cycle (41.8%), for those who study and work (41.3%), those who have family responsibilities for their parents (46.7 %). This is because the p value was found to be 0.000 <0.05 at the significance level. Conclusions: Sex, age, study cycle, occupation and family burden are factors associated with stress in dental students at the Antenor Orrego 2022 Private University.
