The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between coping response scales (Logical analysis, Positive reassessment, Search for guidance and support, Problem solving, Cognitive avoidance, Acceptance or resignation, Search for alternative rewards and Emotional discharge), which is all mental and behavioral effort that the patient exerts when facing his illness trying to minimize the behavior or avoid stressful reflections. And subjective psychological well-being, as that ability that allows us to assess the contentment of our life, about dissatisfaction and satisfaction with it. Being able to determine the existence of the relationship between these two variables, in a population of 120 cancer patients with surgical treatment, aged between 20 and 69 years, using the instruments: Inventory of coping responses for adults (CRI-A) and the Psychological well-being scale (EBP). Concluding that the correlation between subjective psychological well-being with: Logical analysis is 0.471, Positive reevaluation 0.688, Search for guidance and support 0.576, Troubleshooting 0.596, Cognitive avoidance -0.046, Acceptance or resignation -0.267, Search for alternative rewards 0.633, Emotional discharge -0.246.
