In our research work, our goal is to establish an indicator that allows us to find the level or degree of severity or condition of the flexible pavement. This is also possible through the application and use of the PCI method for the surface analysis of the Flexible Pavement at César Vallejo Avenue in the District of Trujillo, with the purpose of finding a timely solution, and selecting the most appropriate technique for its maintenance, reconstruction or rehabilitation of the condition of the flexible pavement. According to the manual elaborated by the Engineer Luis Ricardo Vásquez Varela of the year 2006, the method Pavement Condition Index (PCI) based on the Standard ASTM D6433-03; it is a more complete method for the analysis, qualification and objective classification of flexible and rigid pavements, being the most accepted and adopted as a standard procedure, besides that it was published by the ASTM like method of application and analysis. Having finished and performed the evaluation of the flexible pavement using the PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method, we have made it known that the state of César Vallejo Avenue between blocks 04 to 15 is ““REGULAR““ with a PCI of 50.56. These results are based on the PCI manual prepared by engineer Luis R. Vásquez Varela.
