The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between Multiple Intelligences and Academic Performance in high school students, this being a quantitative type of research with a descriptive - correlational design. We worked with a sample composed of 120 high school students from a state school in the District of Ayauca, to whom the questionnaire ““Scale of Multiple Intelligences - MINDS de Ruíz (2004)““ was applied, and for the variable Academic Performance, the student grade records. The results show a low correlation between the types of linguistic intelligence (r= .180* to .235*) and interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence (r= .034 to .049.) with the academic performance variable. In addition, the linguistic, spatial, corporal, interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligences obtained predominance at a medium level, while the logical mathematical, musical and naturalistic intelligences obtained predominance at a low level
