Conocimiento De Farmacoterapia Sobre Manejo De Infecciones Odontogénicas En Estudiantes De Estomatología De La Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, 2021-10

Abstract

Determinar el nivel conocimiento de farmacoterapia sobre manejo de infecciones odontogénicas en estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, 2021-10. Materiales y Métodos: Este estudio fue prospectivo de corte transversal, descriptivo, prolectivo y observacional, se trabajó con una muestra de 119 estudiantes de estomatología del VII, VIII, IX, X ciclo de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego de ambos géneros, cumpliendo con los criterios de inclusión. La técnica de recolección de datos que se aplicó fue un cuestionario virtual, que consta de 20 preguntas de farmacoterapia sobre infecciones odontógenicas, ya validado por 8 expertos, con una confiabilidad de 0.794. Resultados: El presente estudio encontró que el nivel conocimiento de farmacoterapia sobre manejo de infecciones odontogénicas en estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, presentaron en mayor frecuencia un nivel de conocimiento insuficiente en un 59%, indicando que la edad no influye y que el género influye en un (43%) siendo mujeres. Conclusión: El nivel conocimiento de farmacoterapia sobre manejo de infecciones odontogénicas en estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, 2021-10 es insuficiente.

To determine the level of knowledge of pharmacotherapy on the management of odontogenic infections in stomatology students of the Antenor Orrego Private University, 2021-10. Materials and Methods: This study was prospective, cross-sectional, descriptive, prolective and observational, it worked with a sample of 119 stomatology students of the VII, VIII, IX, X cycle of the Antenor Orrego Private University of both genders, complying with the inclusion criteria. The data collection technique that was applied was a virtual questionnaire, consisting of 20 pharmacotherapy questions on dental infections, already validated by 8 experts, with a reliability of 0.794. Results: The present study found that the level of knowledge of pharmacotherapy on the management of odontogenic infections in stomatology students of the Antenor Orrego Private University, presented a higher level of insufficient knowledge in 59%, indicating that age does not influence and that gender influences (43%) being women. Conclusion: The level of knowledge of pharmacotherapy on the management of odontogenic infections in stomatology students of the Antenor Orrego Private University, 2021-10 is insufficient.
