The development of this thesis created with the objective of providing security and protection to the crop areas located along the left bank of the river CHICAMA, and to protect the road that runs along the left bank, opposite the increasingly more frequent floods of the river. The road infrastructure has a path parallel to Runway CHICAMA River, the same that is exposed to the erosive effects, by increasing the flow of CHICAMA River, because of this infrastructure collapse consequently resulting in the disruption of vehicular traffic, both passengers and cargo with the consequent isolation of the population which would cause significant losses in economic activity, ownership and risk of large losses of human lives. Therefore it is intended to design a proposal riparian CHICAMA river defense in brown tip, tram the Molino according to basic engineering studies to be performed and the existing methodologies for applying these designs stretch the RIVER program based on the knowledge gained in the university.
