hipertensión arterial, diabetes mellitus 2, insuficiencia renal, enfermedad
hepática, enfermedad neoplásica, consumo de tabaco y consumo de alcohol);
nula.
Resultados: El grupo etario >60 años (OR= 23.711, p<0.05, IC 95% [6.633 –
84.759]), la Hipertensión arterial (OR= 3.045, p<0.05, IC 95% [1.139 – 8.141]) y
Objective: To determine whether Anxiety and Depression are factors that are associated with pruritus sine materia. Material and methods: Observational, analytical and cross-sectional study based on surveys of patients attended at the Outpatient setting of the Dermatology Service of the Hospital de Especialidades Básicas La Noria between the period of April to May 2018 and who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A univariate and bivariate analysis was performed; using the Chi square test (x 2 ), the relationship between pruritus sine materia with Anxiety, Depression and other associated factors (sex, age, age group, arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus 2, renal failure, liver disease, neoplastic disease, tobacco consumption and alcohol consumption) was analyzed; likewise, the tStudent test was used to analyze the quantitative variables. Logistic regression was used in order to obtain the adjusted Odds ratio (OR) and its Confidence Interval at 95% (CI 95%). In addition, the degree of statistical significance was calculated to determine the validity of the null hypothesis. Results: The age group >60 years (OR = 23,711, p <0.05, 95% CI [6,633 - 84,759]), arterial hypertension (OR = 3.045, p <0.05, 95% CI [1139 - 8,141]) and Anxiety (OR = 4.701, p <0.05, 95% CI [1.527 - 14.475]) are variables statistically associated with pruritus sine materia. Conclusion: There is an association between age group >60 years, Arterial hypertension and Anxiety with the presence of pruritus sine materia.
