Autoestima en adolescentes, según tipo de gestión educativa, de dos colegios de secundaria de Trujillo.

Abstract

La presente investigación buscó determinar las diferencias de autoestima en adolescentes, según tipo de gestión educativa, de dos colegios de secundaria de Trujillo. Para ello se trabajó con una población de 199 alumnos de cuarto y quinto de secundaria. Se utilizó la escala de Autoestima de Coopersmith, cuyas áreas evaluadas fueron si mismo, social – pares, hogar – padres y escuela; finalizada la recolección de datos se dió paso a la corrección y análisis estadístico, donde se encontró que la prueba U de Mann Whitney en la comparación de la Autoestima en adolescentes de Instituciones Educativas pública y privada de la ciudad de Trujillo, no identifica diferencia significativa (p>.05), en la Autoestima de los estudiantes de ambas instituciones educativas, con promedios respectivos de 97.3 y 107.0. Por lo que se concluye que la autoestima no está determinada por el tipo de gestión educativa.

The present investigation sought to determine the differences of self-esteem in adolescents, according to type of educational management, of two secondary schools of Trujillo. For this, we worked with a population of 199 fourth and fifth year high school students.
