In recent years, stabilization systems have been implemented on our roads with gabions in slopes and reinforced soils as elements to stabilize side slopes of roads, due to their low cost and constructive speed with respect to other traditional construction systems. In the progressive Km 324 + 580 to Km 324 + 650 of the Carretera Ayacucho - Abancay, there is the matapuquio sector, an archaeological sector existing an Inca canal with an Inca road, limiting infrastructure in order to extend the right margin of the slope of the via, where its affectation is not contemplated, fact that makes it impossible for the road in said sector to have two (02) lanes, with sufficient width, according to the geometrical design parameters of the Ministry of transport EG-2013, currently the track has a width average of 4.5mts. In the present work of investigation has developed the application of three (03) constructive systems to stabilize the slope in this sector and complete an adequate width of roads: Non-conventional wall system (gabion, with biaxial mesh tail and compacted earth) , reinforced concrete wall system with Terramesh® System and the Armed Concrete Wall System, where the constructive, technical and economic advantages of each system have been evaluated, as well as the system that allows its execution without traffic restriction. Vehicular in its entirety, taking into account that in the archaeological sector, no work can be executed for the provisional diversion of traffic. By constructive procedure, the non-conventional wall system is more efficient, due to its performance, as it is a pre-assembled structure which facilitates its installation and filling in a short time in the sector km 324 + 580 to km 324 + 650, a different from the reinforced concrete wall system that needs more time in its execution. As a conclusion of the project, the relationship between time and cost, not being a rule that the best alternative is the most economical, its execution time must also be evaluated and the scope or goal of the project must be met.
