The human being is always in search of new solutions to their most basic needs, practical and economic solutions. The world has initiated a strong propaganda in favor of recycling and in different parts of the world we find different methods of construction, in Peru it has been constructed essentially making use of concrete, adobe and wood. This is how recycled paper comes as an alternative, as a building material, helping bio- construction and find a new way to reuse paper, without applying chemicals that are toxic and damaging our ozone layer. In addition, here in our country, paper is the second most abundant solid waste. In the present investigation two designs of mixtures were made, based on the recycled paper, from which the physical and mechanical characteristics of the ecological masonry units were determined. Within its objectives was to define the molding equipment, to establish the prototype, to propose the procedure of elaboration, to verify the variation of dimensions in the making, to make sure that it can be classified as a masonry unit for purposes of non-structural partitioning and to fix the design of More optimal blends of the ecoladrillo; And thus determine their characteristics of the most appropriate unit. The necessary tests were carried out in the laboratory of the Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, obtaining valid and reliable data. As a result it was determined that the design of cement - paper - water mixtures is the most effective greenhouse.
