The present research aims to determine the effect of the capital stock per worker in productivity by the cajas municipales peruanas, in the period 2001-2016. As theoretical reference, we had taken the theories of the production function, productivity, production function perfect substitutes, among others. And another various research previously mentioned in our history. To carry out the research, the information used was taken from the database published by the Superintendence of Banking and Insurance (SBS acronym in spanish) obtained by documentary analysis, where through an econometric model evaluate the following hypothesis: for every 1% increase in the capital stock per worker, the productivity by the cajas municipals peruanas increase in a smaller proportion than 1%. Results shows evidence in favor of the hypothesis, it means that 1% increase of capital stock per worker, the colocation by the cajas municipals peruanas increased by 0.38% in the current period. However, in the medium to long term, for every 1% increase capital stock per worker, the productivity decrease in 0.36 %, this would be associated with the law of diminishing performance and depreciation of assets, whatever it is consistent with economic theory.
