The present thesis focuses on the development of a simplified Ray Tracing channel model for millimeter waves by developing a 3D scenario of the city of Trujillo in Unity 3D to perform realistic tests with the technology of 5th Generation ““5G““ in the frequency of 28 GHz. To obtain the measurements, a videogame development platform called Unity 3D was used to create a virtual city of the downtown of Trujillo, and to obtaining 263 observation samples. After that, the information collected was processed and classified by pathloss levels. With the data obtained from pathloss level ““PL““, comparisons were made between different Ray Tracing, ITU-R, 3GPP-3D channel models. After that, we proceeded to apply the Shannon law to establish channel capacity. The values obtained from ““PL““ show a tendency very close to reality unlike other mathematical models much more pessimistic. The results are discussed and finally the conclusions and recommendations of the work are presented.
