The main objective of this research is to design a safety system to control the emergency shut-off valves in the natural gas transport stage, for which the natural gas transport system is studied, the critical factor to be monitored is determined, proposes a control philosophy, the algorithm is developed and simulated based on historical data stored in the simulated processor, and finally a required equipment is proposed and the investment is estimated. In order to meet the objectives set, theses, research papers, papers and technology journals concerning control systems for natural gas distribution and leak detection systems are precedents. Finally, information on the pressure and temperature variables is collected; the proposed system is modeled and the operation of the security system is simulated based on historical data.
