Microzonificación geotécnica y diseño de cimentaciones superficiales en el sector Taquila de las Delicias, distrito de Moche, provincia de Trujillo – La Libertad

Abstract

La presente tesis titulada: “MICROZONIFICACIÓN GEOTÉCNICA Y DISEÑO DE CIMENTACIONES SUPERFICIALES EN EL SECTOR TAQUILA DE LAS DELICIAS, DISTRITO DE MOCHE, PROVINCIA DE TRUJILLO – LA LIBERTAD” tiene como finalidad conocer el comportamiento geotécnico y las características físicas, químicas y mecánicas del suelo de una parte del sector Taquila de las Delicias en el distrito de Moche – Trujillo; con el objetivo de establecer microzonas cuyas características geotécnicas sean similares; y a la vez, realizar el diseño de la cimentación. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se siguió una metodología que consistió en: identificar las zonas de muestreo en el área de estudio, realizar los pozos explorativos, determinar el perfil estratigráfico y la toma de muestras, realizar ensayos de laboratorio como de campo y analizar e interpretar los resultados. Una vez realizada la metodología se encontró que el material predominante es una arena mal graduada (SP) y que los principales problemas del sector son: niveles de napa freático elevado, licuefacción de suelos y baja capacidad portante, siendo estos factores de suma importancia en el diseño y que los pobladores por desconocimiento obvian al momento de construir. Motivados por dar una solución que aporte técnicamente en las nuevas construcciones del sector de Taquila, se presenta una propuesta de cimentación y una amplia caracterización del suelo que pueden ser usadas como base para las futuras construcciones.

In this thesis entitled: “MICROZONIFICACIÓN GEOTÉCNICA Y DISEÑO DE CIMENTACIONES SUPERFICIALES EN EL SECTOR TAQUILA DE LAS DELICIAS, DISTRITO DE MOCHE, PROVINCIA DE TRUJILLO – LA LIBERTAD” has as purpose to know the geotechnical behavior and the physical, chemical and mechanical characteristics of the soil of a part of the Taquila de las Delicias sector in the district of Moche - Trujillo; with the objective of establishing microzones whose geotechnical characteristics are similar; and at the same time, carry out the design of the foundation. For the development of the research, a methodology was followed that consisted in: identifying the sampling areas in the study area, performing exploratory wells, determining the stratigraphic profile and taking samples, performing laboratory and field tests and analyzing and interpret the results. Once the methodology was carried out, it was found that the predominant material is poorly graded sand (SP) and that the main problems of the sector are: high water table levels, soil liquefaction and low bearing capacity, these factors being of utmost importance in the design and that the inhabitants ignore when they build. Motivated to provide a solution that contributes technically in the new constructions of the Taquila sector, different foundation proposals and a wide characterization of the soil are presented that can be used as a basis for future constructions.
