The objective of the study was to determine the comparative analysis of the structural behavior, its optimum percentage and its hot and cold mix asphalt design made with asphalt cement PEN 60/70, liquid asphalt RC-250 and the aggregates coming from the Bauner quarry. are those determined by the Marshall method, in the city of Trujillo - La Libertad, obtaining through testing methods in soil and pavement mechanics laboratories with asphalt mixtures in hot and cold, to facilitate the processing of such tests. used, tables, graphics, images, etc. In addition, with the support of standards and parameters proposed by the MTC, ASSHTO and ASTM respectively. In this work, it was carried out with the aggregates of the Bauner quarry located on the Panamerican highway north kilometer 570.5 in the Milagro-Trujillo. According to the analysis of the test results by the Marshall method, the optimum percentage of hot asphalt mix using asphalt cement PEN 60/70 has a value of 5.47% with a design of 30% coarse aggregate and 70% fine aggregate. In the result also done with the Marshall method of cold asphalt mixing, its optimum percentage used asphalt liquid RC-250 has a value of 6.63% with a design of 30% coarse aggregate and 70% fine aggregate. According to the stability behavior of the hot asphalt mix we have 10.19 kN (1039.09 Kg) and for an asphalt mix in Frio it has a value of 8.17 kN (833.11 Kg), these results meet the specifications for heavy traffic of folder and base, as mentioned by the American asphalt institute for Marshall design.
