The present thesis denominated: “Study of Road Transitability in the Airport Avenue, District of Huanchaco, Trujillo - La Libertad, Applying the Methodology AASHTO 93““ was developed with the objective of designing the flexible pavement of all Airport Avenue in the district of Huanchaco, that allows to benefit the residents, drivers, vehicles and pedestrians. One of the most serious problems and with more urgency to solve, is the vehicular chaos for lack of a good paving. Chaos generator of dire consequences such as increased pollution, serious damage to our health, increased mortality rate and economic loss due to time wasted. Therefore, this research aims to improve the current situation of Avenue Airport, since this way they will avoid all types of traffic accidents and at the same time optimize the travel times of the vehicles, taking into account that the study starts from the Huanchaco Oval to the Captain FAP Carlos Martínez de Pinillos International Airport, which has to be in good condition as national and international tourists arrive daily. This thesis is developed by chapters in which a problem is formulated and an alternative solution based on the problematic reality of the study area; It is proposed to study the road traffic, covering the points of making the flexible pavement design according to the AASHTO 93 methodology, the geometric design and road signaling design for the solution of the problem approach.
